Classic Physique emphasizes overall shape, symmetry, and proportion rather than muscle size alone, rewarding physiques that embody the aesthetics of classic bodybuilding.

Classic Physique introduces category-specific posing requirements and judging criteria while maintaining a clear distinction from Bodybuilding.

The category places a strong emphasis on symmetry and presentation, rewarding the artistry and elegance of posing as well as overall physique balance.

Judging is based on the following criteria:

Overall symmetry • Muscle balance and proportion • Appropriate muscularity and conditioning • Posing that embodies the Classic Physique ideal • Stage presentation and artistic expression.
