A polygraph examination is conducted to verify the accuracy and reliability of information provided by athletes.Using specialized equipment, physiological responses such as heart rate, respiration, and blood pressure are measured and evaluated in conjunction with the athlete’s responses to a series of pre-established questions.WNBF utilizes polygraph examinations as part of its commitment to maintaining Clean Sport standards. The examination is conducted in conjunction with doping testing (urine analysis).All examination results are evaluated and determined in accordance with the standards and procedures established by qualified examiners and accredited testing authorities.
