※This list is provided as a representative guide only. All related compounds, derivatives, prohormones, and SARMs are also prohibited.
※Athletes are solely responsible for any prohibited substances contained in over-the-counter supplements.
※If you are unsure about any ingredient, please contact WNBF JAPAN for confirmation before use.
Testosterone
The use of any exogenous testosterone is strictly prohibited, regardless of the reason, including when prescribed by a physician.
This includes all forms of administration, such as creams, gels, patches, pellets, and injections.
No exceptions will be granted.
The Testosterone/Epitestosterone (T/E) ratio is measured using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS).
A T/E ratio exceeding 4:1 in a urine sample will be considered a red flag and result in a positive finding, regardless of the cause.
In rare cases, some individuals may naturally exhibit elevated T/E ratios. In such cases, additional IRMS/CIR testing will be conducted to determine whether exogenous testosterone is present in the urine.
This additional testing is conducted at a WADA-accredited laboratory in Utah, and all associated costs are the responsibility of the athlete.
※T/E Ratio
A testing marker that measures the ratio of Testosterone (T) to Epitestosterone (E) in urine and is used to determine whether testosterone has been administered from an external source.
Aromatase Inhibitors
Aromatase inhibitors are substances that block the action of the enzyme aromatase, which converts testosterone into estrogen within the body.
They are commonly used for hormone manipulation and are therefore prohibited.
